EquipHotel Paris consolidates Simex in the foreign market as a provider of hotel equipment

Simex’s first presence at EquipHotel Paris, the most important fair in Europe for the hotel sector, concluded with resounding success in terms of penetrating our brand in the foreign market. An overwhelming international acceptance translated both in direct sales and in obtaining more than a hundred contacts that draw an exciting future regarding the expansion of our product ranges far from our borders.

Bridges to new international markets

Five fruitful days of exhibition thanks to the excellent work of our technical and commercial team has allowed us to establish new business routes in hitherto unexplored markets. From countries in the north and northwest of Africa such as Morocco, Algeria or the Ivory Coast, to southern, northern and eastern Europe represented mainly by France, Great Britain, Portugal or Poland.

In total, almost 150 official contacts sealed in our stand that respond to the previous expectations of acceptance that we had set.

Regarding the profiles of interest, most of the consolidated relationships have been carried out with executives of hotel companies, hotel equipment distributors, architects and interior designers. All of them roles closely linked with Simex’s flagship product lines and that have been liked for their elegant line, functionality and low energy consumption.

As expected, the attending public and professionals in the sector have shown a singular interest in the black range bathroom accessories and the new Premium mirrors.

High-strength black lacquer finishes of elements traditionally designed with no regard for aesthetics have made a great impression. A change in line that hospitality professionals have welcomed with open arms, aware that the customer’s demand is focused on functionality, yes, but never more at odds with the whole space in visual and decorative terms.

The recently released Premium mirrors have worked in the same way. Models of magnifying mirrors based on square and rectangular shapes that escape the conventional and add sophistication to bathrooms and other rooms. Brass with shiny finishes that no one has left indifferent.

Of course, the construction of bridges to new markets responds to the international expansion strategy set by fire in the company’s roadmap for this course. But beyond numbers and operations, the good work of Simex, its team, its work ethic and its proven product quality, have permeated users and representatives of the 1,600 companies participating in this edition of EquipHotel Paris 2018.

A success that has to be consolidated over time. And we are in it.
